Feeding Guide

General Guidelines

  • Barastoc Alpaca Pellets are intended as a supplementary feed for alpacas and llamas at all life stages post weaning.
  • Introduce Barastoc Alpaca Pellets gradually to their diet of a 2 - 3 week period to minimise the risk of acidosis.

    Start feeding pellets at a rate of 0.25kg per 50kg of body weight / day.

    Increase feed rate to 0.70kg per 50kg of body weight / day over a 21 day period.
